Lake San Marcos
Lake San Marcos is an 80-acre, resort-style community that offers two 18-hole golf courses, golf pro shop, putting green, driving range, and a country club with restaurant and banquet facilities. Other amenities include a small community park with boat landing and resident fishing, a community recreation complex, nine courts for tennis and pickleball, two swimming pools, and a lakefront area with boat docks as well as a resort hotel and conference facility. Located just minutes from the beach, the ocean breeze provides nature’s air conditioning to the community.

My favorite restaurants are Amalfi Cucina Italiana for upscale dining and The Grill for budget-friendly food – try the fish tacos!
