Carlsbad
Carlsbad is a beautiful, coastal town in North County San Diego. The Northernmost border of the City of Carlsbad is Carlsbad Village, to the East lie the communities of Aviara and La Costa, and Ponto Beach creates the Southernmost border.
There is always something to do in Carlsbad – check out the City’s Event Calendar and the Chamber of Commerce’s Event Calendar for details. My favorite weekly event is the Carlsbad Farmer’s Market that takes place every Wednesday afternoon on State Street between Carlsbad Village Drive and Grand Avenue from 3 PM to sunset, year-round. The Coaster station provides you easy access to downtown San Diego.
My favorite restaurants in Carlsbad are Jeune et Jolie for Michelin-star French faire and Vallarta Express for budget-friendly authentic Mexican food.
